Project overview:

The Takween Accelerator is the first accelerator in Iraq, started in June 2020 to help growth-stage technology businesses go farther faster. Aiming to be one of the leading actors in the national entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem Takween Accelerator provides equity-free seed capital, intensive training programs, international mentorship, and access to investors and ecosystem partners.

The Accelerator and team are based at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani, offering online programs to reach all regions of Iraq.

Enlightors joined forces with the pioneering Takween Accelerator, Iraq's first accelerator launched in June 2020, to propel growth-stage technology businesses to new heights. Our collaboration encompassed a spectrum of entrepreneurial services, including customized startup training and the development of a cutting-edge Digital Readiness Program. We managed their social media presence to amplify their impact and designed and developed a dynamic website to facilitate their online presence and outreach. By uniting our efforts, we enabled Takween Accelerator to fulfill its mission as a key player in Iraq's entrepreneurial and innovation landscape, offering equity-free seed capital, immersive training, international mentorship, and valuable connections within the investor and ecosystem spheres.
